Hauling Services for Dirt, Gravel and Job Site Debris

Moving Material In and Out Across Northeast Georgia

Our hauling services move dirt, gravel and debris to and from your property. You get the fill or stone your project needs, and the leftover mess goes away. We started our hauling business in 2022, and it fits with our grading and site work. Now one team can dig, grade and haul for the same job.

Weather Tech Roofing is based in Elberton. We haul for homes, farms and businesses in Royston, Lexington and Carlton. We also haul across Northeast Georgia, from in-town lots to rural acreage. Every load gets our standard: professional work, done right the first time.

What's Included

What Our Dirt Hauling and Debris Hauling Covers

Most hauling jobs fall into two groups: bringing material in and taking material out. We bring in fill dirt, topsoil and gravel for pads, yards and drives. Extra dirt, brush, stumps, broken concrete and demolition debris get hauled away. Hauling around Northeast Georgia means moving plenty of red clay between sites.

Why Planned Hauling Keeps Your Project Moving

The Right Material for the Job

Fill dirt is mostly clay and subsoil that packs firm for raising ground. Topsoil is darker, looser soil that grows grass and plants. Using each one in the right place helps you avoid soft pads and thin lawns. Our grading and landscaping company can haul in either one for your project.

Figuring Loads by the Cubic Yard

Dirt and gravel are usually measured by the cubic yard. One cubic yard is 27 cubic feet, about the size of a 3-foot cube. We measure the area and depth to figure how many loads the job needs.

Plan Where the Pile Goes

Have the load dumped close to where it will be spread. Moving a big pile twice takes more time and tears up more of the yard.

Hauling Jobs for Builders, Farms and Homeowners

A new build may need fill for a pad or extra dirt hauled from a cut. After land clearing or demolition, the debris has to go to the right place. Farms use gravel to firm up muddy lanes and gate areas. Homeowners often need topsoil for a new lawn or a pile of brush taken away.

Where each load ends up matters. Georgia has inert waste landfills for materials that will not break down into harmful runoff. They take only dirt, rock, concrete, brick, stumps, limbs and yard waste. Mixed debris with wood, metal or shingles goes to a different kind of facility. Sorting loads by material keeps each one headed to a place that accepts it.

  • Building pads that need fill dirt brought in and spread
  • Cleared lots with brush piles and stumps to haul off
  • Muddy farm lanes and gate areas that need gravel
  • Demolition sites with concrete and debris to remove

What should not be in a load of clean fill dirt?

Clean fill should not hold trash, roots, stumps, metal or chunks of asphalt. Those pieces rot or shift over time and can leave soft spots.

Can you haul topsoil for a new lawn?

Yes, we bring in topsoil for new lawns, beds and finished grading. It gives grass a looser, richer layer to root in than bare clay.

Can you spread the dirt or gravel after you dump it?

Yes, the load can be spread and graded instead of left in a pile. Spreading it right away keeps rain from washing the pile across the yard.

How do I get ready for a dirt or gravel delivery?

Pick a firm, open drop spot the truck can reach without crossing soft ground or pipes. Move cars out of the way, and mark any septic tank or drain lines.

Can you deliver gravel for a long driveway or farm road?

Yes, we deliver gravel for farm lanes, long drives and parking pads. Gravel firms up soft spots and helps keep vehicles out of the mud.
